
NEW YORK — Carmelo Anthony poured in 25 points, helping the New York Knicks snap a four-game losing streak with a 94-90 win over the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday.
Derrick Rose added 18 points and Kristaps Porzingis contributed 17 points, seven rebounds and four blocks for the Knicks (23-33).
The Knicks finished the five-game homestand 1-4.
Kawhi Leonard paced the Spurs (41-13) with 36 points, nine rebounds and four steals.
New York held the Spurs, the best 3-point shooting team in the league, to just 20 percent (6 of 9) from beyond the arc.
Leonard’s jump shot cut the Knicks’ lead to 88-86 with 1:43 remaining, but Anthony countered with two straight jumpers for a 92-86 Knicks lead with 33 seconds remaining to hold off San Antonio.
Pistons 102, Raptors 101
TORONTO — Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored five of his 21 points in the final minute and the Pistons overcame a 16-point fourth-quarter deficit to defeat Toronto.
Caldwell-Pope made a 16-foot jumper and followed it with a 3-pointer with 13.2 seconds left to give the Pistons a one-point lead.
Toronto’s DeMar DeRozan, who finished with 16 points, missed a 17-foot jumper at the end of the game that would have given the Raptors a victory.
It was the 10th loss in the past 14 games for the Raptors.
Timberwolves 117, Bulls 89
MINNEAPOLIS — Andrew Wiggins scored 27 points and Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 as the Timberwolves cruised past the shorthanded Bulls.
Chicago played without starters Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade, as well as backups Nikola Mirotic and Paul Zipser.
Minnesota took advantage with Ricky Rubio adding 17 points, 11 assists and six rebounds for the Timberwolves, who had lost five of their previous six games.
Doug McDermott started for Butler and had 16 points for Chicago, which lost its third straight game.
