Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier and right tackle Marcus Gilbert are among nine teammates ruled out for Sunday’s game against the New York Jets.
Shazier, who suffered a knee injury in last Sunday night’s 43-14 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, did not practice all week. Gilbert (ankle) also was injured in the game.
Others ruled out on Friday’s injury report include cornerbacks Justin Gilbert (knee) and Senquez Golson (foot), fullback Roosevelt Nix (back), wide receiver Eli Rogers (toe) and starting safety Robert Golden (hamstring). Backup right tackle Ryan Harris (shin) and backup interior lineman Cody Wallace (knee) also are ruled out.
The Jets have ruled out wide receiver Eric Decker for the second straight week due to a partially torn rotator cuff in his shoulder and right guard Brian Winters is out with a concussion. Wide receiver Quincy Enunwa (knee) was added to the injury report and is listed as questionable.
Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis (hamstring) did not practice all week and is listed as doubtful. Jets coach Todd Bowles said the team will wait until Sunday morning to make a decision about whether Revis will play in Pittsburgh.
