
INDIANAPOLIS — Jimmy Butler sank a pull-up jumper with 3.7 seconds left to lift the Chicago Bulls to a 98-96 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday.
A 3-point shot by Indiana’s C.J. Miles bounced off the rim at the buzzer.
Chicago’s Nikola Mirotic sank a 3-pointer to tie it at 96 with 2:19 to go. Mirotic led the Bulls with 28 points and Butler added 14.
Paul George scored a team-best 20 points for Indiana. Ian Mahinmi added 18.
Magic 139, Nets 105
ORLANDO — Reserve Andrew Nicholson had a career-high 24 points, and seven teammates scored in double figures to lead Orlando to an easy victory over Brooklyn.
The Magic, who beat the Bulls by 21 points on Saturday, won back-to-back games for the first time since early February. They set a season high in scoring.
Aaron Gordon had 20 points for Orlando, and Dewayne Dedmon added 15 points. Nets forward Thomas Robinson, who got his second start of the season, finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds.
Hornets 100, 76ers 85
PHILADELPHIA — Nicolas Batum had a triple-double consisting of 19 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists to lead Charlotte past Philadelphia.
Cody Zeller scored 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the Hornets improved to 13-3 in March. The victory total is a franchise record for a calendar month.
Kemba Walker added 16 points and Courtney Lee had 15 for Charlotte. Robert Covington led Philadelphia with 18 points.
