Veteran linebacker Tamba Hali and the Kansas City Chiefs agreed on a three-year contract, according to published reports on Tuesday.
Hali, 32, has spent all 10 seasons of his career in Kansas City and the new deal could allow him to spend his entire career with the Chiefs.
Hali had 6.5 sacks last season while being named to the Pro Bowl for the sixth time. He has 86 career sacks.
Hali has dealt with knee issues the past two seasons and rarely practiced in an attempt to keep him healthy. He also played with a cast on his right hand late last season to protect a broken thumb.
