DENVER — Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant left Wednesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets with a sore right shoulder.
Bryant, who announced he will retire at the end of this season, his 20th, had five points and two rebounds in 11 minutes, all in the first quarter. His last trip to Denver packed the Pepsi Center, with many fans sporting Bryant jerseys.
Bryant, 37, sat out the Lakers’ last two games for rest and because of the shoulder.
Bryant entered Wednesday leading the Lakers in scoring at 17.1 points a game.
