Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Josh Ravin suffered a broken left arm in an automobile accident and will undergo surgery, the team announced Tuesday.

Ravin, 28, will have the radius bone repaired. There is no timetable per his return.

Ravin was reportedly involved in a multi-car accident. The team said he was alone in his vehicle but didn’t offer any details about the crash or its location.

The Dodgers hold spring training in Glendale, Ariz., a suburb of Phoenix.

Ravin made his major-league debut last season and went 2-1 with a 6.75 ERA in 9 1/3 innings of relief.
