
NEW YORK — Kevin Love collected 17 points and 18 rebounds in three quarters as the Cleveland Cavaliers bounced back from their worst loss of the season with a 91-78 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night.
Love had his 19th double-double and fourth in five games by halftime. He was 5-for-10 from the field and came within one of his season high for rebounds while playing just 31 minutes.
LeBron James finished with 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting for Cleveland, which lost 132-98 to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.
Brook Lopez led the Nets with 16 points and nine rebounds.
Wizards 106, Heat 87
WASHINGTON — John Wall had 18 points and 10 assists, Bradley Beal also scored 18, and Washington snapped a recent home funk with a win over Miami.
The Wizards had lost two straight and five of six home games since getting blown out by the Heat on Jan. 3. Six Wizards scored in double figures, including forward Nene, who had 16 points and a season-high with five steals.
Chris Bosh scored 18 points for Miami, which lost its third game in a row.
Raptors 115, Celtics 109
TORONTO — DeMar DeRozan scored 34 points, and Toronto defeated Boston to extend its winning streak to a season-best six games.
Jonas Valanciunas added 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Raptors.
Isaiah Thomas scored 21 points and had 10 assists for the Celtics, who lost their second game in a row.
76ers 96, Magic 87
ORLANDO, Fla. — Rookie Jahlil Okafor scored 20 points and reserve Hollis Thompson had 17 points to lead Philadelphia past Orlando.
The Sixers have the worst record in the NBA, but they won for the second time in three games. The Magic have lost eight of their past nine.
Orlando got 21 points and 10 assists from Elfrid Payton.
