Clippers’ Jordan sits, consecutive games streak ends

LOS ANGELES — Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan missed Wednesday’s contest at Staples Center against the Miami Heat with pneumonia, ending his NBA-best consecutive games streak at 360.

Jordan hasn’t missed game since March 19, 2011, when he also was diagnosed with pneumonia. Jordan’s availability for Saturday’s contest against the Sacramento Kings at Staples is unknown.

Jordan is averaging 11.6 points, 13.4 rebounds and 2.4 blocks in 38 games this season.
