Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry of Alabama and finalists Christian McCaffrey of Stanford and Deshaun Watson of Clemson head the Associated Press All-America team announced Sunday.

Henry became the second Alabama player to win the Heisman Trophy on Saturday, beating out McCaffrey and Watson.

Henry and Leonard Fournette of LSU were named as first-team running backs.

McCaffrey, who set an NCAA record for all-purpose yards this season, was not listed as a running back on any of the three teams but made the first team as an all-purpose player.

Watson is the quarterback on the first team, with Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield on the second team. Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds made the third team.

Alabama and Baylor have the most players on the first team with three each.

The Crimson Tide also have linebacker Reggie Ragland and defensive lineman A’Shawn Robinson on the first team.

Baylor is represented by receiver Corey Coleman, offensive tackle Spencer Drango and defensive tackle Andrew Billings.

The Southeastern Conference had the most players on the first team with six, followed by the Big Ten with five.
