Buffalo Bills running back Karlos Williams will miss Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans with a right shoulder injury, coach Rex Ryan said Friday.
Williams did not practice all week. He left last Sunday’s loss against the Kansas City Chiefs in the first quarter after suffering a shoulder injury.
Williams, with 376 rushing yards and seven total touchdowns this season, is Buffalo’s No. 2 running back behind starter LeSean McCoy.
Starting right tackle Seantrel Henderson is “really doubtful” for Sunday because of an illness, Ryan said. Henderson missed the first two practices this week because of the illness.
The Bills promoted running back Mike Gillislee from the practice squad. Gillislee, 25, was cut by the Miami Dolphins earlier this season and also had a short stint on the Arizona Cardinals’ practice squad.
