The Philadelphia Eagles released offensive lineman Julian Vandervelde for the eighth time on Monday and signed center/guard Barrett Jones from the practice squad of the Chicago Bears.
The latest transaction marked the third time Philadelphia has released Vandervelde this season. The 28-year-old played in two games this season with the Eagles and 18 over his five NFL seasons.
The Eagles added signed cornerback Mike Lee and linebacker Brandon Hepburn to the practice squad.
