Chicago point guard Derrick Rose was cleared to return to action when the Bulls play the Trail Blazers Tuesday night in Portland.

Rose has missed the past two games because of a sprained left ankle.

Tuesday’s game will be Rose’s first in Portland since tearing his right meniscus in the 10th game of the 2013-14 season. He missed last year’s game because of a sore left hamstring.

The 27-year-old Rose is averaging 13.6 points, six assists and three rebounds per game this season.
