Wake Forest player notes for Feb 28th, 2019

Kendall Hinton – Noteworthy
Wake Forest’s offense operates through the slot receiver position as Clawson has said, and that helped in recent years because Greg Dortch and Tabari Hines were so dynamic with the ball in their hands. Now the Deacons need to find the next star at this position – and it could be a player who started at another position in years past. Kendall Hinton returns for his fifth season as a Deacon, and now will go through his first spring practices in the slot. The former quarterback endured a 2018 season rife with adversity – both self-inflicted in the form of a three-game suspension and unfortunate in the form of injuries. But when finally healthy, Hinton snagged three catches for 38 yards in the Birmingham Bowl. – Winston Salem Journal
