The Los Angeles Clippers reportedly agreed to a contract with point guard Pablo Prigioni on Wednesday.
The Denver Nuggets waived Prigioni on Monday after acquiring him in a seven-player trade that sent guard Ty Lawson to the Houston Rockets. Prigioni cleared waivers and became a free agent on Wednesday, and the Clippers quickly reeled him in, according to RealGM.com.
In 67 games with the Rockets and the New York Knicks last season, Prigioni averaged 4.1 points, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
Prigioni, 38, is entering his fourth NBA season after playing most of his career in Argentina and Spain.
