All-Star forward LaMarcus Aldridge is not expected to re-sign with the Portland Trail Blazers, according to ESPN.

Wednesday’s trade of forward Nicolas Batum to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for center Noah Vonleh and guard/forward Gerald Henderson may have been an indication of Portland’s belief that Aldridge will leave by the July 1 start of free agency.

Aldridge, who is from Dallas, will consider signing with the San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks, sources told ESPN.
