The Indianapolis Colts signed free agent wide receiver Tyler Rutenbeck on Monday.
The 6-foot-2, 186-pound Rutenbeck was originally signed by the Washington Redskins on May 7 after going undrafted out of the University of Dubuque, a Division III school in Iowa. He was released on May 18.
Rutenbeck played four seasons (2011-14) at Dubuque and recorded 163 receptions for 2,715 yards and a school-record 42 receiving touchdowns. He ranks third in school history in receiving yards and fourth in receptions. In 2014, Rutenbeck caught 66 passes for 918 yards and 11 touchdowns.
