Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving went through the team’s light workout Tuesday and expects to play Wednesday.

Irving limped to the bench in the deciding game of the Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Chicago Bulls and has been bothered by left knee tendinitis and a sore foot.

“I’m good to go,” said Irving.

Coach David Blatt said Irving would be on the court with the starters Wednesday in Game 1 at Atlanta unless he wakes up with pain or discomfort that causes Irving to be reevaluated. Irving played just 12 minutes in Game 6 and was ineffective for stretches of the first five games. The Cavaliers are playing without All-Star forward Kevin Love, who had shoulder surgery following Cleveland’s opening-round sweep of the Boston Celtics.

“I don’t want to be on the sideline at all, especially preparing for a big stage like this,” Irving said.
