Chicago forward Pau Gasol’s status for Tuesday night’s clash with the Cavaliers in Cleveland is uncertain.

Gasol missed Game 4 of Chicago’s Eastern Conference semifinals against the Cavaliers on Sunday because of a hamstring injury. He did not participate in Monday’s shootaround.

When asked about Gasol’s chance of playing, coach Tom Thibodeau said, “Day-to-day … I don’t know.”

The best-of-seven series is tied at two after LeBron James’ last-second shot gave Cleveland the win on Sunday. Gasol did not play in that game.

In Game 3, the Bulls’ Derrick Rose hit a last-second shot to give Chicago the win.

If Gasol can’t play, the Bulls most likely will start Taj Gibson, who started Game 4 and had six points and eight rebounds in 34 minutes.
