The Golden State Warriors signed free agent forward James Michael McAdoo to a 10-day contract Monday as a call-up from their NBA Development League affiliate in Santa Cruz.
McAdoo, 22, has appeared in 22 games (20 starts) with Santa Cruz this season, averaging 17.6 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.59 blocks and 1.83 blocks.
After going undrafted in the 2014 NBA Draft out of North Carolina, McAdoo played for the Warriors’ Summer League team and signed as a free agent with Golden State on Sept. 2. In five preseason games, the 6-foot-9 McAdoo averaged 5.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.20 steals. He was waived on Oct. 24.
