Well, this is a first.

In all my years of H-Bombing, of course prior to making picks at www.lindyssports.com, there has never been a week where there was only one eligible game (6.5 points or more). But, that’s the case this week, at least with the early-week line.

Some weeks, there are several games that are 6-point spreads, and some sneak up to 6.5. However, the highest other lines are 5, so it looks like there is only one direction to: dropping the bomb on Atlanta, which is an 8.5-point favorite over Oakland.

Last week, I failed again, going with the Browns to cover. For a while, it looked like they would, but the Cleveland defense failed to slow down Eli Manning and Co. Of the five games last week, Indianapolis won outright and the Jets covered against Houston.

For the season, yes, I am 0-5. Overall, of the 24 eligible games, 14 underdogs have covered and eight have won outright.
