Dick Jauron, who served as the Cleveland Browns defensive coordinator the past two seasons, has met with St. Louis Rams’ officials about the Rams’ vacant defensive coordinator position, CBSSports.com reported.

It’s not clear how the meeting went or whether any job offer was made.

The Rams seemed to be on the verge of hiring Rob Ryan for that job, but that did not materialize.

The Rams have not had a defensive coordinator since Gregg Williams was suspended by the NFL before the 2012 season.
