49ers first-rounder Armstead signs

The San Francisco 49ers got the last of their 10 picks from the 2015 NFL Draft under contract on Friday when defensive lineman Arik Armstead signed a four-year rookie contract.

The 6-foot-7, 292-pound Armstead, selected in the first round (17th overall) out of the University of Oregon, had 87 tackles, four sacks, 10 tackles for loss, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and two passes defensed during his college career.
