The San Diego Chargers signed cornerback Jordan Mabin, the team announced Tuesday.
Mabin spent parts of the past three seasons on practice squads with the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns and Atlanta Falcons. He was waived by the Falcons on May 1.
He was originally signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent in 2012.
Mabin was an honorable mention all-Big Ten selection as a Northwestern senior in 2011.
To make room on the roster for Mabin, the Chargers released wide receiver Demetrius Wilson, an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas.
