Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown plans to skip the team’s offseason workouts starting Monday as he seeks a new contract.

FOX Sports reported Brown is also thinking about not attending the team’s three-day mandatory minicamp starting June 16 and training camp beginning at the end of July.

Brown, 26, signed a five-year, $42.5 million extension with Pittsburgh in 2012 and then restructured his contract last season.

Brown, who is not scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent until after the 2017 season, made $5.285 million last season and is scheduled to make $6 million for the 2015 season.

The 5-foot-10, 186-pound Brown, a sixth-round draft pick of the Steelers in 2010, led the NFL with 129 catches for 1,698 yards last season and had 13 receiving touchdowns. He also had 319 punt return yards with one touchdown. In his five seasons, Brown has 390 catches for 5,259 yards and 28 touchdowns.
