The Oakland Raiders continued their overhaul with the signing of defensive end C.J. Wilson and cornerback Carlos Rogers.

A seventh-round pick by the Green Bay Packers in 2010, Wilson had just eight tackles in eight games as a reserve last season. However, he did register 3.5 sacks while starting 11 of 42 games over his first three NFL seasons.

The former East Carolina star joins Justin Tuck, LaMarr Woodley and Antonio Smith as key additions on the Raiders’ defense with the ability to apply pressure on quarterbacks.

The 32-year-old Rogers started all 16 games for the San Francisco 49ers in each of the last three seasons, and he was a Pro Bowler in 2011. He previously played in Washington from 2005 to 2010.

Rogers, who signed a one-year contract, had 47 tackles and two interceptions last season.
