The New Orleans Saints picked up the fifth-year option for Pro Bowl defensive end Cameron Jordan, according to reports Monday.
ESPN.com reported that Jordan will now make $6.969 million in 2015.
Jordan, 24, had a breakout season in 2013 with a career-high 12.5 sacks. He has been a full-time starter and steady producer for the Saints since being drafted with the 24th pick out of California in 2011.
The 6-foot-4, 287-pounder has 21.5 sacks and five forced fumbles in his career.
