The Minnesota Vikings signed free agent long snapper Kevin McDermott on Monday.
McDermott spent the final 10 weeks of the 2014 season with the Baltimore Ravens, appearing in seven games before being placed on injured reserve with an elbow injury.
McDermott spent the first week last season on the Denver Broncos’ practice squad. In 2013, he appeared in all 16 games with the San Francisco 49ers.
McDermott signed with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA where he was teammates with Vikings punter Jeff Locke.
