Look for Blaine Gabbert and the Jags to play Houston tough at home this weekend. (Brace Hemmelgarn-US PRESSWIRE)

Well, it wasn’t a good start for the H-Bomb. My pick, the Colts, didn’t come close to covering the 10-point line even though they took an early 7-0 lead. Of the five games, three underdogs covered (Cleveland, Washington and St. Louis) with the Redskins winning outright over the Saints. That’s a “direct hit” in H-Bomb parlance!

Hopefully, I can even my record this week, picking from these games and Friday morning point spreads: New York Giants (home) 7.5 over Tampa Bay; New England (home) 13.5 over Arizona; Cincinnati (home) 7 over Cleveland; San Francisco (home) 7 over Detroit; and Houston (away) 7.5 over Jacksonville.

My first inclination is either dropping the bomb on Cincinnati or Houston, so I’ll go with the Jaguars because they are home.
