The Indianapolis Colts signed free agent kicker Carson Wiggs and waived guard Zach Allen on Tuesday.

Wiggs was signed out of Purdue in 2012 as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks, but he was waived before the start of the season. His 53 field goals rank second in Purdue history and he holds the school record for field goal accuracy at 73.6 percent.

Allen was signed to the Colts’ practice squad on Dec. 16 and then signed a reserve/future contract in January. He played in 42 games and started 31 at North Carolina State from 2009 to 2012.
