The Green Bay Packers reached agreement on a one-year deal to keep defensive tackle Letroy Guion, ESPN.com reported Monday.
According to the report, details of the contract were finalized Monday morning and the free agent Guion is expected to sign by Tuesday.
The deal comes three days after he visited the Seattle Seahawks.
Guion, 27, was arrested on Feb. 3 in his hometown of Starke, Fla., for felony possession of marijuana and a firearm. His legal case was eventually resolved in conjunction with a no contest plea and a $5,000 fine. Guion still could face disciplinary action from the NFL.
Guion started every game for the Packers last season, posting career highs in tackles (32) and sacks (3.5).
