The Arizona Cardinals Tuesday signed free agent linebacker LaMarr Woodley to a one-year contract. Terms were not disclosed.

The 30-year-old Woodley is an eight-year veteran who played last season with the Oakland Raiders after spending the first seven years of his career with Pittsburgh.

Woodley has compiled 57 sacks, nine forced fumbles, nine fumble recoveries and five interceptions in 100 career games.

He was a second-round pick by the Steelers in the 2007 draft. He appeared in only six games with the Raiders last season before being placed on injured reserve with a biceps injury in October.
