(Evan Habeeb-US PRESSWIRE)

There were no outright winners in H-Bomb eligible games last week, but three of the five underdogs managed to cover.

Yet, I was still able to pick one of the two teams that failed, although I never had a chance as the Raiders were blasted by Denver. It was a close game … for about 17 minutes.

One trend in the first four weeks is that Cleveland hasn’t won a game, but they have covered twice and pushed once as underdogs of at least 6½ points. The other trend is that I can’t buy a win, and am 0-4, despite the underdog’s record being 12-7.

Let’s hope I figure out how to manage a win. This week’s games are: Green Bay on the road 7 over Indianapolis; New York Giants at home 9½ over those Browns; New England at home 6½ over Denver; San Francisco 9½ at home over Buffalo; and Houston 7½ on the road over the New York Jets.

I am intrigued by both Denver and yes, Cleveland, this week, but I’ll go with that Browns bandwagon and drop the bomb on the Giants, even though I believe Denver has the best chance of winning its game outright.
