The Cleveland Browns signed fullback Chris Pressley, the Akron Beacon-Journal reported Monday.
Pressley formerly started for the Cincinnati Bengals. At 5-foot-11 and 260 pounds, he is considered a strong lead blocker. The Browns’ running game could be much improved after signing running back Ben Tate during this offseason.
Pressley tore an ACL during the 2012 season and missed all of last year while recovering from the injury.
Pressley has played 43 NFL games, including 20 starts. He has just one carry and six receptions.
