The Cincinnati Bengals signed rookie safety Derron Smith on Tuesday.
Smith, selected in the sixth round of the NFL Draft, becomes the second 2015 pick to sign with the Bengals.
At Fresno State, Smith started 44 games during his career, including the final 40 in a row, and finished with 15 interceptions.
Wide receiver Mario Alford, chosen in the seventh round, previously signed with the Bengals.
