Former Chicago Bears linebacker Doug Buffone was found dead Monday in his West Side home. He was 70.
Buffone died of natural causes, according to Chicago police.
Buffone retired in 1979 after 14 seasons with the Bears. He holds the team records for most interceptions by a linebacker (24) and games played in (186).
He also recovered 10 fumbles and forced another nine fumbles to go along with 37 sacks.
