Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Star Lotulelei was carted off the training camp practice field Monday with an apparent foot injury.

According to reports, Lotulelei needed the cart’s help to return to the locker room after going down during a drill. He received medical attention from trainers after limping off the field.

Lotulelei missed the NFC divisional playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks last season after suffering a fractured foot in practice.

Lotulelei, 25, played in 14 regular-season games for Carolina in 2014, recording 25 tackles and two sacks. As a rookie in 2013, the former first-round draft pick had 42 tackles and three sacks while starting all 16 games.
