The Baltimore Ravens announced Friday they intend to terminate the contract of defensive tackle Terrence Cody following the Super Bowl.
Cody, who was taken by the Ravens in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft, appeared in just one game this season. He missed most of the season recovering from offseason hip surgery.
In his five seasons with the Ravens, the 26-year-old Cody totaled 87 tackles and no sacks. Cody was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent.
