The Atlanta Falcons agreed to a one-year contract with cornerback Josh Wilson, according to multiple reports Tuesday.

The Falcons met with Wilson on Tuesday after he visited with Detroit on Monday, but the Lions signed free agent cornerback Cassius Vaughn to a one-year contract.

Wilson started all 48 games for the Washington Redskins over the past three seasons. He had a career-best 93 tackles, seven passes defended, two forced fumbles and an interception last season.

The 29-year-old Wilson has 14 interceptions with 81 starts in seven NFL seasons.

Before joining Washington in 2011, the 5-foot-9, 188-pound Wilson played for the Seattle Seahawks (2007-2009) and Baltimore Ravens (2010). He was Seattle’s second-round pick in 2007.
