The loss Lamar Holmes (76) and center Joe Hawley is a big blow to the Falcons up front. (

The Atlanta Falcons officially lost two more offensive lineman for the season with center Joe Hawley and tackle Lamar Holmes placed on injured reserve. Safety William Moore was also placed on injured reserve with the designation to return tag.

Hawley won the starting center job during training camp and was viewed as an integral piece of the Falcons’ revamped offensive line before going down to a torn ACL in his right knee injury during Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He will be replaced by Peter Konz, who has failed to lock down a starting job at center or guard during his three NFL seasons.

Holmes entered the season as a reserve, but was thrust into the starting job at right tackle when rookie Jake Matthews was moved to the left side following Sam Baker’s season-ending injury. He is now out with a foot injury and will be replaced by veteran Gabe Carimi, who has played well as a fill in at both tackle spots this season and finished last week’s game at left guard after Justin Blalock was injured.

With only tackle Ryan Schraeder and guard James Stone remaining on the depth chart and both inactive against Minnesota, tight end Levin Toilolo finished Sunday’s game playing at tackle.

The Falcons signed tackle Cameron Bradfield and guard Harland Gunn to the active roster Tuesday and were expected to work out veteran guard Uche Nwaneri. Guard Adam Replogle was signed to the practice squad.

Bradfield has started 27 career NFL games at guard and tackle, including the first two games of this season at right tackle for the Jacksonville Jaguars before being released. Nwaneri has started 92 career games for the Jaguars.

Moore’s shoulder injury is likely to thrust Kemal Ishmael into the starting lineup alongside Dwight Lowery.

Safety Kimario McFadden to fill Moore’s roster spot.
