INDIANAPOLIS — Cody Parkey kicked a 36-yard field goal on the last play of the game Monday night, giving the Philadelphia Eagles a 30-27 victory over the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Actually, Parkey kicked it twice.

He kicked it once for the win, but a timeout called by the Colts just prior to the snap forced Parkey to kick it a second time.

It marked the second week in a row that the Eagles rallied from a deficit to defeat an AFC South team. In their season opener last week, the Eagles fell behind the Jacksonville Jaguars 17-0, then scored 34 straight points for the victory.

Monday night, the Eagles trailed Indianapolis 17-6 at halftime and 27-20 early in the fourth quarter.

Eagles quarterback Nick Foles threw for 331 yards and a touchdown, and was intercepted once.

A 7-yard scoring pass from Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck to Ahmad Bradshaw with 11:49 left in the game broke a 20-20 tie and put the Colts in front. Bradshaw was left wide open on the right side of the end zone and he easily caught the pass from Luck.

Bradshaw caught a 1-yard TD pass from Luck on a fourth-down play in the opening quarter.

Luck completed 20 of 34 passes for 172 yards and three touchdowns.

But Luck’s only interception of the game set up a game-tying touchdown drive by the Eagles. With the Colts deep in Philadelphia territory, a pass by Luck was picked off by Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins. It took the Eagles just five plays to drive 76 yards for a score. Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin caught a 6-yard scoring pass from quarterback Nick Foles.

The Colts went three-and-out on their next possession, setting up Philadelphia’s game-winning drive for a field goal.

The Eagles struck first on a 31-yard field goal by Parkey with 9:48 left in the opening quarter, but the Colts warmed up their offense after that.

The Colts went three-and-out on their first possession, but Luck led the Colts to scores on three of their next four possessions, including the 1-yard touchdown pass to Bradshaw. He also hooked up with tight end Jack Doyle for a 2-yard scoring toss in the second quarter.

Foles completed 13 of 21 passes for 187 yards in the first half, more than tripling Luck’s total of 58 passing yards. But Philadelphia had to settle for two field goals by Parkey. He missed a third field goal attempt of 38 yards.
