The Washington Wizards signed guard Will Bynum to a 10-day contract Friday.
The 6-foot, 185-pound Bynum played seven seasons with the Golden State Warriors and Detroit Pistons, appearing in 353 career regular-season games and averaging 8.2 points, 3.3 assists and 1.6 assists in 18.5 minutes per game.
Undrafted out of Georgia Tech in 2005, Bynum enjoyed his best season in 2009-10 for the Pistons when he averaged career highs with 10.0 points and 4.5 assists.
Bynum appeared in 30 games this season for the Guangdong Southern Tigers of the Chinese Basketball Association where he averaged 22.3 points, 7.1 assists and 3.6 rebounds while shooting .564 from the field.
