Free agent swingman Omri Casspi will stay with the Sacramento Kings after agreeing to a two-year, $6 million deal, multiple media outlets reported Sunday night.
He tweeted, “I’m all in. #SacramentoProud”
Casspi, a 27-year-old from Israel, saved his best for last in 2014-15, averaging 19.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.9 assists in eight April games. On the season, he averaged 8.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
The Kings’ first-round draft pick in 2009, Casspi played two seasons in Sacramento before spending two seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers and one with Houston.
The Rockets dealt him to New Orleans last summer, and the Pelicans waived him in July. He subsequently re-signed with Sacramento.
In 394 career NBA games, Casspi is averaging 7.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists.
