Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin is the subject of a police investigation in Las Vegas into a criminal complaint by a man that accused Griffin of attacking him during an argument.

The man alleged that Griffin attacked him at a nightclub on the Las Vegas strip in a dispute over a photo. No arrest has been made since the man filed a battery complaint.

According to the website TMZ, the man said Griffin grabbed him by the neck after he snapped a picture, took his cellphone and hit him on Sunday night at the Venetian resort.

The Clippers were in Las Vegas to play a preseason game on Saturday against the Denver Nuggets.

Clippers coach Doc Rivers said before Wednesday night’s exhibition game in Los Angeles against the Phoenix Suns that he trusts Griffin and believes the situation will be resolved without distracting the team.

Las Vegas police are still investigating the complaint.
