Seven-time NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady announced that will play for the Qingdao DoubleStar Eagles in the Chinese Basketball Association.

The 33-year-old played with former Chinese basketball star Yao Ming with the Houston Rockets and is well known in the country.

While the team made no announcement, McGrady posted the news on his website Tuesday, though it didn’t list the terms of the deal. Chinese media reports say the one-year deal is worth at least $1 million.

McGrady said “it will be an honor” to play for the Chinese people.
