Free agent guard Wesley Matthews has agreed to sign with the Dallas Mavericks on a multi-year deal, according to multiple reports Friday.

Matthews, the former Portland Trail Blazers swingman, turned down a four-year, $64 million offer from the Sacramento Kings on Thursday night, according to ESPN.com.

NBA.com reported that Matthews will receive a four-year deal from the Mavs, but sources told ESPN.com the figures remain in flux until Dallas’ respective pursuits of marquee free agents DeAndre Jordan and LaMarcus Aldridge play out.

Matthews averaged 15.9 points and 3.7 rebounds per game last season for the Trail Blazers before suffering a season-ending Achilles injury in March. He missed the final 22 games of Portland’s season.

The 28-year-old Matthews’ deal with Dallas can’t be officially signed until July 9.
