The Atlanta Hawks announced Tuesday that forward Mike Scott re-signed with the team.

The Hawks did not disclose contract terms, but the restricted free agent agreed to a three-year, $10 million contract with two years guaranteed and a team option earlier this month.

“Mike has worked hard and continues to adapt, improve and expand his all around game,” Hawks general manager Danny Ferry said. “We are very happy to have him with us going forward and we look forward to his continued growth with our group.”

A second-round pick in the 2012 NBA Draft, Scott played in 80 regular-season games for the Hawks last season and averaged 9.6 points and 3.6 rebounds. He started six times and averaged 14.0 points and 5.3 rebounds in those games.

In the postseason, Scott averaged 9.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in the first-round series against the Indiana Pacers and had five 3-pointers in the second quarter of a game, the most 3-pointers in a quarter in NBA playoff history.

With Scott in the fold, the Hawks currently have 13 players under contract next season.
