Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver is scheduled to undergo his second surgery in five weeks on Tuesday.

The team announced Monday that Korver will have surgery in New York to remove loose bodies from his right elbow.

Korver, who was named to the All-Star team this past season, had surgery to repair ligament damage in his right ankle on May 27.

He suffered the ankle injury in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers and missed the rest of that series.

Recovery time for his elbow surgery will be determined after the surgery. Korver was expected to be sidelined for three months because of the ankle operation.

Korver, 34, averaged 12.1 points in 2014-2015 while leading the league in 3-point shooting at 49.2 percent.
