The Houston Rockets reportedly acquired guard/forward Corey Brewer from the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.

Houston also will receive forward Ronny Turiaf and Minnesota will get guard Troy Daniels, sources told Yahoo Sports. Turiaf, who is out for the season after recent hip surgery, could be traded to a third team, Yahoo reported.

Brewer, 28, is expected to provide needed depth behind Trevor Ariza and James Harden, who are second and third in the NBA in minutes played.

Brewer is averaging 10.5 points and 3.9 rebounds this season.

Daniels, 23, averaged 2.7 points and 6.4 minutes per game for Houston.
