Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul was able to limp through Saturday’s Game 7 and help his team beat the San Antonio Spurs, but he may not be able to play in Game 1 of the series against the Houston Rockets.

Paul is officially listed as questionable for Monday’s game against Houston because of a left hamstring strain, but multiple media outlets report that he is unlikely to play in the opener.

Coach Doc Rivers said in his post-game press conference on Saturday that Paul is “just a tough kid. He’s a street fighter. I mean, he really is. I love him to death because of his will.”

But Rivers then said he doubted that Paul could play on Monday. “Yeah, I’m going to get with our training staff,” Paul said after the game. “I know my grandmother back in North Carolina is praying right now. She’s praying, and she’ll let my mom pray over it and all that, too, and it will be all right.”
