Wright, a 19-year veteran, has pitched in 60 or more games during six of the previous seven seasons, including a career-high 75 outings for the Rangers in 2008. He has a career record of 97-130 with a 4.81 ERA in 719 games with 10 teams.

In 95 games for Texas during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, Wright posted a 12-12 record with a 4.41 ERA.

The Rangers now have 62 players on their spring roster, including 22 non-roster invitees to camp.
